SCOTTSDALE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) – The Valley will soon be getting more ways to play golf. A company co-owned by golf legend Tiger Woods called PopStroke Entertainment is bringing two entertainment centers with 18-hole putting courses to the Phoenix area. One will be at The Pavilions at Talking Stick in Scottsdale and the other will be at Glendale’s Westgate Entertainment District. The putt-putt courses will have synthetic turfs with fairways, bunkers and rough, just like on traditional golf courses. There will be two courses at each location. “Each new location will have a different course design and layout, giving players unique putting challenges as they travel across the country,” Woods said in a statement.
The 36 holes for putting will be paired up with an outdoor dining area with a full menu including craft beer, wine, cocktails, and ice cream plus outdoor games and a playground. Guests can use a mobile app to order food and drinks to be delivered to them wherever they are on the golf course.
The two locations are part of a seven-property expansion in Florida, Texas and Arizona. PopStroke, which was founded in 2018, already has two locations in Florida. The two Arizona spots are expected to be open in the fall of 2022. The Scottsdale facility will be behind the Home Depot and Comfort Suites at Loop 101 and Talking Stick Way. It’s unclear where in Westgate the Glendale location will be, but it appears they’re looking on the west side of the complex.
