CASPER, Wyo. — Interstate 80 in Wyoming has re-opened to travel in both directions across Wyoming, but black ice is impacting I-80 travel near Cheyenne as of 9:45 am Thursday, April 15, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
Fog is affecting visibility from Cheyenne to Laramie on I-80, according to WYDOT.
I-25 is seeing black ice conditions from Casper to Chugwater and “no unnecessary travel” advisories are in effect from Casper to Douglas.

WYDOT said at around 9:30 am that most highways which saw closures due to the winter conditions have re-opened, but some closures remain in effect.
WYO 28 is closed from Farson to the westbound closure gate near South Pass. WYO 135 is closed from WYO 139 to Sweetwater Station Junction. Wyo 430 is closed from Rock Springs to the Colorado State Line. US 191 is closed from the Utah State Line to the southbound closure gate near Rock Springs.
US 89/191/287 are closed between Flagg Ranch and the south boundary of Yellowstone National Park. US 14/16/20 are closed between the east gate of Yellowstone National Park and Pahaska.
WYDOT says that drivers should watch for black ice on multiple highways around the state.
